Carlton was the first drummer of Mansun, he worked previously with Paul Draper and Steve Heaton in Grind.

Biography

Carlton studied at the London College of Printing between 1990-1994 and gained a BA hons, Media production and design.

Early Days

The Mansun Years

Carlton was the first drummer of Mansun who formed in 1995. After several altercations between himself and Chad the lead guitarist Hib was fired from the band in May 1996 after throwing a Pineapple at Chad in Cambridge.

Life after Mansun

Worked as a graphics artist and web design author Now working for Rhythm Magazine, a monthly drumming magazine doing graphics

Trivia

Carlton made the infamous Mansun logo, initially by spray painting it on a wall
