Julian was hired as the band drummer after Carlton Hibberts departure from the band and worked until Mansun hired their new drummer [[Andie Rathbone]].  He performed with the group at [[T in the Park]] in 1996 and features on several photoshoots including the one where the band are jumping over fallen trees.
