Liner Notes
This was probably the earliest song I wrote for the album, and I had this floating round since my art college days. Bitter, twisted, angry, self-loathing... all that shit. This was the closest I came to emulating a Prince record in terms of recording. I recorded myself playing drums first, then acoustic guitar, electric, bass, vox, mellotron, and hey presto, there was the track! It only took a few hours, and everyone thought I was mad because of the big gap in the drums. My finest drumming moment! | ||
