"The third track we ever recorded. I put the drum loop down, and then played guitar and bass over it. I suppose the influence for this track came from The Stone Roses using drum loops, which was our original grand plan. [[Dominic Chad|Dom Chad]] added a lead line, but we struggled with the rhythm guitar part for a while... weeks? Months? A year? [[Mike Hunter]], our engineer, nearly wiped the multi-track at one point. Sorry, that was Brian Eno. It was originally to be called 'She Makes Me Bleed', but I thought it sounded too earnest, so 'nose' was added in keeping with the vein of humour added throughout this record, although it was misconstrued as a drug reference. Andy laid down the drums, the last of all the instruments, and it finally brought this track to life." | "The third track we ever recorded.
